Tinubu has been rated as one of the greatest man builders in Yorubaland by Fayose.
Nigeria online news reports that the former governor of the state of Ekiti, Ayodele Fayose, has praised the national leader of the Congress of All Progressives, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, stating that the APC giant has paid its dues, which should be recognized.
The former governor of Ekiti described Tinubu as one of the biggest builders of men in Yorubaland and Nigeria in general.
The PDP chief, while speaking at his residence in Ekiti state as part of activities to mark his 60th birthday, said he would not defect to the APC as other PDP leaders have done.
He also said that it was not cross carpeted so as not to reduce it politically.
“I am not defending the cause of Tinubu. I am not in a position to do that, but there is no denying the fact that Tinubu is a prominent Yoruba leader, be it in APC or PDP. You cannot deny that fact, ”said Fayose.
“What I’m trying to say is that we cannot hide their identities and goodwill for political reasons.
“We cannot deny their contributions. Other Northern leaders like Ahmadu Bello had different impacts.
“So, Tinubu has paid his dues,” Fayose said.
